Dynamic has recently expanded its services to include high voltage termination and testing. Our electricians are well-trained in applying both heat and cold shrink terminations to medium voltage power cable. Our engineering staff has the knowledge and tools to specify the necessary components for modifying existing terminations, splicing cables, reworking high voltage bus systems, and more.
In addition to termination and splicing, Dynamic offers high/medium voltage cable testing. We can perform Hi-Pot or Meggar testing on new or existing cables to help isolate any problems you that are being experienced. Over a long period of time, cable insulation can corrode, often causing phases to fault to ground or leak voltage. Hi-Pot and insulation meggar testing can be performed to isolate any ground faults or shorts that may be present in your system, and are beneficial in terms of cost as the problem can most always be isolated quickly. These tests are also a great way to verify there are no problems on a new installation.
